SOLOHI Movie Files: Files are provided in MP4, MPG and MVI formats. The MVI files are compatible with the SCC_PLAYMOVIE and GENERIC_MOVIE routines. The MP4 and MPG movies are similar, but the MP4s are smaller and play on a wider range of video players. Files have been grouped by date ranges to correspond to the orbit of the Solar Orbiter spacecraft. The movies currently available are running ratio movies the L2 images. This means the background is removed by dividing two consecutive images. There are lots of artifacts visible in these movies, these are typically a result of spacecraft pointing maneuvers which cause changes in the intensity of the images. 20211227_20220228 : Inbound portion of the first science orbit 20220302_20220408: The period surrounding the 3 remote sensing windows around perihelion on March 26, 2022. 20220409_20220627: Outbound portion of the orbit 20220628_20220930: Inbound portion of the next orbit 20221001_20221102: The period surrounding the 3 remote sensing windows around perihelion on October 12, 2022. 20221109_20221226: The outbound portion of the orbit following the RSWs 20221227_20230312: The inbound portion of the orbit 20230313_20230516: The period surrounding the 3 remote sensing windows around perihelion on April 10,2023 and the outbound portion of the orbit before the instrument was shut off to save telemetry. 20230828_20230924: The inbound portion of the orbit
